As we know, right now every industries in global nor in our country are affected with this pandemic as well as Hotel Industry. Hotel industry seems related with tourism because before the pandemic everyone could go whenever they want without any worries and warning. Furthermore, Hotel is a vital place where everyone decided to staycation. Ever since the pandemic, so many Hotels were closed permanently because they experienced a significant decrease in income. as he said that "The occupancy have decreased and the income to the hotel's also having dwindle" which it made the management should take a risk in order to overcome the situation, he said that the hotel management have applied health protocols to guarantee that all the guest are safe to stay, in the early pandemic they stopped all the interns and several workers with no limit discernible time. and while the others, they do shifting system works. Those all the thing they did just to reduced expense of the hotel, so the hotel could survive. Also they stopped the buffe and changed into room service delivered, the guests ordered menu and will be delivered to their room.

As Indonesian's Governments suggested that the workers in the hotels should using mask and face shield. In addition, they restricted the usage of ballroom with 50% capacity in maximums. We knew from the interview session that the hotel already do all the best and trying best to obey all the strict protocols. for the shake of surviving in this pandemic. "May the pandemic gone soon" he stated.

To sum up, everyone could staycation with notes that they must obey all the protocols applied in the hotels because the management tried so hard to giving the best service they could to all the guests.

Interview Report

interviewed one of the college students from Trisakti School of Management in Bekasi, her name is Alyani Khairina. I asked about her perception about Covid-19 pandemic. The first question that i asked was her daily activity during this pandemic situation. She said that the pandemic has changed her daily activities, she gets limited to go anywhere and meeting her close friends during this condition and just studying at her home almost every day. Then, she said that this pandemic is occur naturally, so she just used the health protocol if she want to go outside, or maybe if she was bored she would like to had some “me time” before she continue to study.

The next thing that I wanted to know is this pandemic situation disrupting her studies or not. And she responds that sadly yes, she gets hard for understanding what her lecturer is saying because there's a limit that she can’t do some practical, meanwhile, she had some practical in computer laboratory to learn about SAP system that important to accounting studies. Also she felt that home is not a great place to study because there's so much distraction like families or connection.

Furthermore, she doesn’t think that online learning prevented her to study or making an assignment since she just finishing her paper recently. She said that if she had to choose to study online or face-to-face learning she rather choose online because she thinks she enjoys online learning, but sometimes she wants to go offline too because she could meet her friends and study together. At the end of the interview she hopes in this situation the lecturers could understand us because there are many student that hasn't had a good connection while doing classes, so she hopes there’s a tolerance for them and just dont be really strict to them.
